War Thunder's naval gamemode is a lot more suffering than WOWS. Progression is insanely difficult and arduous without any sort of premium account/vehicle/booster, and there's severe balancing and botting issues. For example, there is practically NOTHING you can do against a ship that is one class above you. I do not find it to be particularly enjoyable in any way. Also you have many many more options with War Thunder, not only in plane choice, but how you wish to play the game (ie: Arcade Battles [which is like WoWP], Historical Battles, and Full Real Battles).
